Stegosaurus Pro

"It’s brilliant in every way!" Ian Rowland
Phill Smith’s original "Stegosaurus" was a favorite for working mentalists and close-up performers. After years of work performing the routine, he’s refined it into “Stegosaurus Pro”. This new, definitive edition features custom-printed cards and a powerful three-phase routine that builds to an inexplicable finale.
Here’s What Happens:
You introduce your audience to one of your favorite family card games, a word game called JMBLD. Each card features a handful of random letters, and the goal of the game is to pick a word from the word list, use the cards to spell the target word, and for the other players to guess what word was spelled.
First, you do it face up, which, while impressive, is hardly magical. You play again, this time with the cards face down. Again, you nail it. The third time, however, you ask them to pick cards that don’t have the letters to make the target word. Despite it being completely impossible, you’re able to get it right again.
Why Performers Love It
Simple and Elegant: The method is easy to learn, allowing you to focus entirely on your performance.
Authentic Props: Custom cards are designed to look like a genuine retail word game for casual or professional use.
Practical for Workers: The effect is instantly repeatable, resets in seconds, and fits any performing style.
Maximum Impact: It packs flat, requires no setup, and delivers massive reactions.
