Peter asks: You describe it as a “diamond polished to perfection”. It’s probably fair to allow a little marketing hype, so one would not expect a diamond (!) but is it made from a nice weighty piece of glass? So nice and tactile in your hand. Or is this “diamond polished to perfection” simply plastic?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The Motus is a heavy-duty plastic.
Tom asks: what does Motus stand for and does it come with magic effects?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:We unsure what it stands for but no, there's no magic effects. It is "just" a thing of beauty.
Ged asks: I see that a 2" model sells for $32 on Amazon. Prices seem to be on a downward trend, so, my question, wouldn't it be prudent to wait a few weeks?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:There are a lot of rip offs online. Be careful whom you buy from.
Ged asks: The video gives the impression that the cube spins freely, unaided, for a period to time. But the text indicates that the cube is necessarily turned by hand, and placed on a flat surface it will simply subside. Is that the case?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It does not spin on its own.
Gregor asks: The Motus is described as 50mm ( which is the size of the original square cubes). I have seen other references that the Motus is 30mm ( not 50mm). Please confirm?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:This Motus is 50mm (2in) around.
Robert asks: On the Motus, are the only face colors the C M Y of the original cube, or are others included as well, if so what colors? I am asking this because some combinations result in total clear transparency, something I don't get on the cube. The word “subtractive” appears in some of the manufactures descriptions.
- 1. Robert responds:I just checked with the manufacturer and was informed for the Motus that CMY are the only face colors involved with no clear faces.
