Blindspot

Blindspot tackles a problem that several people have tried to solve over the years; coin in bottle with a sealed bottle.

Amongst others, Nicholas Einhorn manufactured a good solution that involved a specially prepared cork that cleverly concealed the coin in bottle gimmick. In Blindspot, Bob Swadling offers a similar solution, but using a bottle cap instead of a cork. This changes the method a little, but has the great benefit of looking a lot cleaner as the bottle cap is so much thinner than a cork (and thus, couldn't conceal a coin).

If you've never performed coin in bottle for an audience, this is your perfect opportunity. In a walkaround environment, it's an incredibly strong effect; especially if you use the same bottles as the venue that you're performing at.

As with all JB Magic releases, this trick comes with an instructional DVD that details. However, while not stated anywhere in its advertising, it's important to note that this trick does not come with the gimmicked coin required to perform coin in bottle. If you don't know what that is, drop us a line and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction. It's pretty inexpensive, but is a requirement.
