If you're going to get a morgan shell get the tail side because it is more silent than the head side.
I worked with my shell for many years and it works great but you it takes abit more effort to manage than one with a deper mouth. I still show the uggly side in a production I do and have never been cought although when putting a nested coin in someone elses hand I have to make sure the spectator keeps their hand low so it doesn't flash.
Next time I'll get a shell I'll get a whole set from a known craftsman.
