Expanded Shell - Replica Morgan Dollar (w/ 4 matching coins)

I knew that these coins would be quality, considering they were produced by Tango Magic. However, I've always been sceptical about replica Morgan Dollars for a number of reasons. Other replicas I've seen either have a bland silver patina (you might as well use a washer from your local hardware store!), or they don't have a correct weight to them. This set, on the other hand, is absolutely perfect for a replica set.

Gorgeous patina, great weight and feel to the coins, and best of all, they look pretty damn close to the genuine article. The shell included is phenomenal, too. It has amazing coverage and no difference in appearance between the shell and the regular coins, which is vital.

For the price, this is an amazing set that will elevate how your spectators view your coin magic. Put away those cheap, tiny Kennedy half dollars that have no character or large visibility. Instead, pick up these beautiful replicas that will draw attention, be seen from the other side of the table, and - most importantly - will not break the bank!

The only thing I hope Tango Magic will do in the future is to make a similar set of Replica Morgans, but with a Gravity Flipper instead of a shell. That way, you can combine both gimmicks in your repertoire and create even more impossible effects, again without emptying your wallet. But as it stands, this is an awesome coin set that is exactly as advertised, with no nasty surprises!

The Tango Morgan Dollar replicas and the expanded shell are well made and look very good.

The coins I received were a bright, matte silver unlike the picture that appears to be darker, patinaed coins. The coins were bright but did not have the same glisten as a real coin so it was a really unnatural coin coloring due to the matte like finish. They were also slightly rough and bumpy in texture which was weird. Ended up returning these coins and customer service was very understanding.

So let me be honest here. I have purchased a few of these Silver Dollar sets. These are marginally better than the ones made in China. Not bad, not great but not the typical Tango quality in my humble opinion. They are keepers but I was expecting a closer representation to the real thing than the Chinese (cheap) ones I have.

Very good coins, but all but impossible to access the tutorials.
Primarily, I bought this for the promised videos.
I’ve already purchased CSS and was hoping for the video tutorials to add.
With out access to those from tango, this set , although well made was just an expensive indulgence and not worth the cost.

The coins work ok, but not the dark shade as described and thats why it dosent looks "real" coin, so minus points for that.

Received my set today. Beautiful shiny silver coins with a shell that is excellent with great coverage. You can easily spend four times the money on a set this killer. Also a cool thing is that the shell fits right over the Chinese coins you get with the CCC set. Highly recommended.
