19th Century Square Faro Playing Cards

LIMITED EDITION: Only 2000 printed! Will NOT be reprinted.
This reproduction deck is based off the Squared Faro #366 which was first produced by Russell & Morgan Co. in 1887 to supply gambling casinos. Faro was the most popular gambling game at that time.
It has been digitally recreated to accurately represent the artwork on the deck, but on a modern USPCC printed deck with rounded corners.
The Court cards are full-length figures which contain many of the idiosyncratic features associated with designs re-copied from the woodblock era.
This deck would be a great practical prop for any themed wild west parties or to use in gambling magic routines. Superb appearance and handling!

Customer reviews for 19th Century Square Faro Playing Cards
I'm also curious about Faro and wanted to be able to learn the game with an authentic looking deck.
This deck is brilliant for both purposes, and is a direct link back in history to even earlier decks, which helps me a great deal. I love the courts, and the simplicity. Simpler times indeed!
If you're curious about the history of playing cards and card games, I'd recommend this deck heartily.
