When I first caught sight of this deck I was stunned. Something so original and so fluid in its design that it took a while to get used to but in the end has been a revelation. In fact as a designer, just starting out, it opened my eyes to possibilities well beyond the standard formula.
As for the cards themselves, they handle beautifully, as you'd expect from Dan & Dave.
I had to buy a second deck for my collection as i'm not sure that we'll ever see another deck as unique as this.
Highly recommended.

As a designer, I love how we're now seeing artists being given a chance to take us on a journey beyond the traditions of playing cards and into new realms. First sight of this deck caused that twitch I feel when I see a deck that I must have, that was all the incentive I needed to purchase immediately.
The immediate effect of opening this deck was to broaden my mind, I was confident that the quality would be superb and I wasn't wrong in thinking that, but I wasn't prepared for the effect it had on my work in designing cards, and other products. I find my mind wandering and freely imaging more possibilities as a result.
Handling and using these cards is a pure delight, and they are terrific ice breakers, they always get attention and cause a string of questions. I can't praise D&D enough for taking this bold step.
