Merah Putih Playing Cards are a revolutionary deck of cards crafted by Indonesian designer Ade Suryana as a tribute to Indonesian Independence Day (Aug. 17). Two incredible versions of this spectacular 19th century-style deck were created—each one in EXTREMELY LIMITED quantities. Now, for the first time ever, you can grab both the Red Edition (2018) and White Edition (2019) of Merah Putih Playing Cards in one amazing collector’s set.

While both versions feature completely custom designs inspired by Indonesia’s lavish coat of arms and "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" (or “Unity and Diversity”)—the national motto of Indonesia—many changes were made to differentiate the White Edition from the Red Edition. In addition to a different color scheme and slight design variations, the White Edition also features an entirely new set of custom Court Cards and Jokers.

Careful and dedicated consideration was also given to the premium embossed card stock used for Merah Putih Playing Cards. Finding this perfect balance of quality stock and handling was a difficult task, hence the limited print numbers for this deck.

Each individual deck of Merah Putih Playing Cards is wrapped in a lovely foiled tuck case with a custom-numbered stamp seal before being neatly secured in an exclusive gold-foiled collector’s box complete with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ade Suryana.
