Jackson grew up in rural West Texas and developed a love for the State of Texas. He loved the beauty of the land and friendliness of the people. He came to understand the mystique of Texas, what John Steinbeck famously referred to as something more profound, something exceeding a mere "state of mind."
Years later, as he first began designing playing cards, he dreamed that some day he'd introduce to the world a very special deck - a deck unlike any other - that would adequately express his deep affection for this place.
The "Texas Luxury Playing Cards" are distinctly Texas, with court cards invoking various icons from life in the Lone Star State: the mockingbird, football, yellow rose, grapefruit, the pecan tree, the Blue Lacy (the state dog of Texas), cotton, prickly pear cactus, the bluebonnet, and the Bowie knife.
They are worthy of their namesake, worthy of the millions of friendly, hardworking, self-determined people that have called it home. He's spared no expense for this project. From the highest quality playing cards available, to the most sophisticated printing methods for the packaging, no detail has been overlooked in the design and production of this deck.
