Prototype Cardistry Playing Cards

Creating new cardistry moves is not an easy process. Cardists will often try various different versions or methods of a particular move before being satisfied with the final product. These individual segments are called “prototypes,” and they are an essential concept in cardistry.

Inspired by this, Vincent Li set out to create a deck of cards perfectly suited for crafting cardistry prototypes. As cardists always carry playing cards and often practice in public, he also wanted to integrate his passion for modern fashion trends to ensure this deck of cards could match their outfits.

The Prototype Playing Cards have been designed with a sporty feel that also pairs well with streetwear style. Their simple, yet gorgeous, black and white lining has been strategically crafted for packet cuts and dotted corners add a stunning touch to fans and spreads. The red suit cards have also been adjusted to match the theme while also remaining easily distinguishable from the spades and clubs.

Printed by Hanson Chien Production Co. with a legendary finish, this deck of cards is not only functional but makes for an incredible addition to the wardrobe of any cardist or fashion enthusiast.
