Union Playing Cards

As a playing card deck collector I was lucky to get Theory 11's Union deck. The tuck box looks fantastic. The tuck's loaded with gold foil and embossing, and the artwork's fantastic. The pips and indices are somewhat customized, but the court cards shine with original flare. I love the color choices for the court two-design. Each suit enjoys its own background hue, but that's as far as similarity goes. The theme of this deck falls back to the time of the U.S. Civil War, and tuck box and court cards enjoy various symbolic imagery that harkens back to that period. Everything from sabers to headgear to neckwear suggests a pure period piece, though designed with modern style and bold flair. Stars, stripes, lanterns and birdcages are effectively integrated into the various face card designs. Overall, the deck makes for a high quality addition to any collection, fans nicely, and is well suited for gameplay. Highly recommended!
