Wars Of The Roses Playing Cards

“The Crown was a Game. The Game is Now Yours.”

Welcome to 15th-century England, where two powerful families, the Lancasters and the Yorks, were locked in a decades-long struggle for the throne. Their conflict plunged the country into a war later known as the “Wars of the Roses.”

The war took its name from the red and white rose crests of the two families. Their confrontation inspired countless legendary stories of loyalty, betrayal, and ambition.

Combining this history with Shakespeare’s play Henry VI, KSPCC created a series of playing cards in a retro woodcut style, with an elegant, noble, and classically inspired design.

The card boxes are made from matte specialty paper with distinctive textures. The playing cards use 300 GSM TS black-core paper and KSPCC’s latest BE specialty card oil. They have moderate thickness, strong resilience, and a smooth, durable finish.
