  • Yu Yen asks: Is this set come with a 3-linked rings ? I want to perform Dai Vernon routine , thank u

    • 1. Jim responds:Yes.
  • LAWRENCE asks: Do the rings come with instructions?

    • 1. Jim responds:None are listed.
  • Lewis asks: Hey there, I just wrote a great review of the Merelo Rings with suggestion to use a standard set for practice before using the Merelo Rings for a live performance. I checked this set here on your site and it says it comes with 7 rings. What happened to the 8 ring sets that I grew up using?

    • 1. Jim responds:Products, and their availability, change over time.
    • 2. Glenn responds:The missing ring ... If you really need it, buy an antique set or two of these sets. 7 is a more magical number than 8, and there are very few reasons to have the eighth ring, and many reasons why not. The old business of handing rings out for examination and funny counts etc, new style misdirects by having audience members handle rings within the performance. No point to slow down the action, no need for that particular ring. The seven ring display is much better of a fooler than the eight ring display. Also unknown 'prop 65 metals' preclude many of us from using mouth. Or getting bigger rings. But there are plenty of antique sets out there at reasonable prices. Since it is a classic well known prop, many magicians don't do the rings at all. But magicians love the rings, love to see a well done believable routine. However many rings you feel best with, magicians will pay attention to your ring moves. There are not many better illusions than the linking rings no matter what style rings you choose. Get this one trick right and it will make you stand out even among other great magicians.
