A small bag is shown empty to the audience. The magician turns it inside out and even allows a member of the audience to check inside. A silk handkerchief is then dropped into the bag and a child is asked to wave their hand over the bag in an attempt to make the handkerchief vanish.

Yet, no matter how hard they try, they can't make the handkerchief disappear. However, they are able to turn it into a magician's hat (or clown hat or pumpkin/halloween hat).
