The performer forms a paper cone using a sheet of newspaper. From a transparent jug he pours milk into the paper cone, leaving a little quantity in the jug, which he places aside on the table. Making magical passes around the paper cone he suddenly unfurls it, makes a throwing motion towards the audience - milk is found to have completely vanished!

I’ve performed the classic Vanishing Milk Pitcher trick for years (for the young and old alike), but my aged milk pitcher insert started to discolor and also started a slow leak so I shelved the trick and never purchased a new pitcher. Unfortunately, the trick hasn’t been done in a while. I recently found an occasion to revive the effect but the large milk pitcher was too big for my need so I began searching for an alternative prop and Vanishing, Inc. had just what I was looking for. I liked what I saw and read on the product page so I purchased the Evaporating Milk Glass (with handle). When delivered, I opened the box to find the nice looking plastic glass to be the perfect size and I was pleasantly surprised that it was extremely well made considering the fact that it is very reasonably priced. The method by which the ‘magic’ occurs is fairly similar to the original milk pitcher but the Evaporating Milk Glass ‘gimmick’ can be easily removed causing the glass and gimmick to be cleaned and dried thoroughly, certainly a plus! The gimmick can be returned to the glass and and adequately secured. All this, with Vanishing, Inc.’s superb customer service, is why I’m a return shopper. The Evaporating Milk Glass (with handle) is certainly worthy of consideration if you’re looking for a smaller and functional option to the larger milk pitcher.
