Can I banish the ring from anywhere and what amount of practice time will it roughly require?

The ring would need to be vanished in the hands, this will require little practice depending on your skill level

Which version would be recommended for Canadian audiences? We have both smarties and m&ms here but they might come in different packages than in the US/UK.

Either version will work. The UK gimmick is made for Smarties (which are not rarely seen in the States) while the US gimmick is made for M&Ms.

A ring, coin, or other small object vanishes and appears in a sealed pack of candy.

Love this trick!!! I do in my family and corporate shows. Very well made prop! But be warned make sure you pick a small to medium size ring. I used the wrong size once and broke part of the trick. That was 100% my fault so I bought another one because the trick is so good n gets those wows and ahhh. I get a good 5 to 7 mins out of it. Highly recommended!!
