This is a very clever item. It works fantastically and is easy to use. Unfortunately, when I changed the batteries, it broke. The effect works with just about any lightbulb, but with imagination could certainly add a very cool light effect for other objects and can be combined with items like D'lite. I'm definitely getting another one.

This is an electronic device with only 1 moving part. I have used it approximately 12 times over the last two years (I am a hobbyist). I took it out to incorporate it in a routine and discovered it would no longer work. I contacted MagicSmith directly and after trying some recommendations by them determined the board needed replacing. They would not replace it and told me I needed to purchase another one. I will not.

This is an excellent little device.

It goes perfectly with either Big Bang, or Mesika’s exploding lightbulb.

Angles are a little tricky, and I wouldn’t recommend for walk around, but in a more controlled setting this is fantastic.

It’s so good, even Derren Brown has used it. If that’s not a good enough recommendation then I don’t know what is.

Great prop for the money.
Fun to do in a dollarama. Put the device on a packaged bulb and tell the clerk is this one defective ?
Looks real and stuns people.
The sticky stuff provided is good. But it's funny becasue you need to take care the gimmick does not fall off.
The gimmick works on may different bulbs, maybe not the clear bulbs. But the shimmereing action forces you to be an actor an not play it or never playit. You've got about 10 seconds of action until it shuts off. Mine still works great.
