You get what you ask for - a really 100% Sage version of russian nail roulette trick. But is it worth the money? I do not know. I guess I expected a bit more from a 249$ trick. Once I learned the secret I was dissapointed. The trick doesn't allow you to have people behind you, and mostly I think it's overpriced. Scott explains that you are paying for the idea, but for 249$ I could get a smartphone, and a phone which lets you connect to the whole world's archives of knowledge, have fun, watch films, talk with someone miles away is far much better idea, whitch I gladly pay for. This one tho? Overpriced.

I've read several reviews online of people who purchased this and were disappointed with what they receive. I think that's misguided. You're paying for what the audience sees, and what they see is an amazing effect with intrigue and drama. And I love the "proving" points that Scott Alexander teaches. Just as magicians can mystify and entire theater with a thumb tip, this is the type of trick that may be lo-tech in method, but an absolute winner in effect. I love this.
