Parlor Rising Card

The Rising Card remains one of the most powerful, mysterious, and magical effects possible with a deck of cards. A participant's signed card is returned to the pack, which is then placed inside a glass and isolated beneath a dome. Without a word, their card slowly rises out of the pack. It is a profound moment of impossible magic that audiences adore.
One of magic’s most classic routines is now within your grasp. Introducing the Parlor Rising Card, a handcrafted masterpiece designed for elegant performances.
This is among the finest engineered versions of this classic ever produced. The props are exceptionally high quality, featuring an incredibly thin gimmick with a magnetic locking system for a perfectly smooth, silent rise. Never worry about broken threads again!
It is also remarkably easy to use since the gimmick does most of the hard work for you. Whether rising one signed card or several, you won’t have to worry about any forces, palming, or difficult sleight of hand. With over two hours of instruction and multiple handlings taught, the Parlor Rising Card is an achievable miracle for all skill levels. You’ll even learn bonus routines using the gimmick in new ways!
When not performing, the Parlor Rising Card serves as a beautiful display piece that elegantly honors magic’s history. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the super-thin gimmick and its magnetic locking system to the solid wooden base perfectly designed to showcase the effect. Even the glass was redesigned to better showcase the routine and its beauty.
The Parlor Rising Card arrives with everything you need to perform the effect, including:
- Glass dome
- Wooden base
- A brand new, super-thin gimmick
- The remote control and cable

Christopher asks: I own this and I really love it. Will the gimmick itself be made available for having a backup, or will I need to purchase the entire set again?
- 1. Jim responds:Our supplier currently does not offer any. Sorry!
Benedikt asks: Can I also do the first one or two card rising from my hand (i.e. holding the deck in my hand) and then only later put the deck in the glass for the grand finale?
- 1. Jim responds:Yes, you can do that.
Christopher asks: There are instructions for using any poker-sized deck. Two things need to be altered for this, but only one is explained. Am I missing something?
- 1. Jim responds:Simply placing cards from your other deck onto the back of the gimmicks should work.
Mike asks: I have read about the variable time delay for each rise. Is there also a manual control to activate the mechanism exactly when required?
- 1. Jim responds:Yep!
Michael asks: I'm curious if the gimmick could be combined with the Horizontal Card Rise from Collectors Workshop. This would allow the final card or cards to rise vertically for a finale. Of course this will surely require more more handling, but does the card rise from the center of the deck?
Sebastien asks: Hello, in order to display it on a bookshelf, I need to know the diameter of the wooden base and the height of the glass dome... Thanks.
- 1. Jim responds:In the packaging, it is 15.5 x 9.0 x 7.5 inches.
- 2. Matt responds:on a quick measure from the bottom of the base to the top of the dome is roughly 11 1/8" and the diameter of the base is roughly 6 7/8" - hope that helps!

Diana-Bohdana asks: What about dimensions of the box and weight?
