From fooling Penn and Teller directly into your working set. This stunning effect had us feeling like kids again and we’re so thrilled to bring it to you!

“Ring to Shoelace” by Adrián Carratalá is everything you’d want in a routine. It’s direct, clear, makes a huge impact, and is super easy to perform. Here is exactly what happens:

A borrowed ring is vanished under a handkerchief before immediately re-appearing tied to your shoelace.

It’s almost unfair how easy it is to accomplish this true miracle. Each gimmick is handcrafted to perfection in Spain and takes care of all the hard work for you.

Key features of “Ring to Shoelace”

  • Setup takes less than 10 seconds (reset is even quicker)
  • Super easy to do
  • Perform it close up or in your parlor and stage show
  • Completely self-contained system that fits in your pocket
  • No sleight of hand required
  • No alterations required (you could even perform this in shorts)
  • No duplicate rings used
  • Gimmick is designed for professional performers (no delicate reels, threads, or elastics used)
  • You never put your hands in your pocket or touch your shoes

This idea is inspired by an effect called “Interlace” by Richard Sanders. Adrián’s innovative new method makes it more practical than ever. Setup takes just seconds and nearly all the clothing restrictions have been removed.

“Ring to Shoelace” is also incredibly fooling and entertaining, even for those who are familiar with “Interlace”. The lack of suspicious moves makes this a true powerhouse, especially considering you don’t need to go anywhere near your shoes before the ring is revealed (unlike the super popular, and equally amazing in its own way, “Laced Up” by Donovan Mount).

Comes with detailed instructions in both English and Spanish that feature multiple live performances.

After keeping it has his most closely-guarded secret for years Adrián Carratalá is finally making "Ring to Shoelace" available to you. Don't miss your chance to own this stunning reputation-maker!

IMPORTANT: “Ring to Shoelace” is designed to work best with dark shoes and/or with black laces.

Customer reviews for Ring to Shoelace

Edward
Amazingly simple and direct! I love it, cannot wait to perform.
Vince
This is just an excellent effect. It does take some practice but once you have it down it is a performance stunner. The directions are very easy to follow and understand. I did reach out to Adrian with a question and he came right back with a video he specifically made for my question. The only caution I would mention is that if you are hearing impaired this might present a problem. Otherwise, this is easy and should be in your repertoire.
Gerald
I have performed the Ring to Shoelace and gotten amazing reactions. After the performance it is one that people have asked questions about for the rest of the night. It is fun to practice and a joy to perform.
Bill
The audience always really loves this trick. I've been doing this trick for years and it always delivers. It's easy enough for me to do so that I can put my own little twist on it. One of my favorite classic tricks that never gets old.
Ian
It is a good/cool trick, but I certainly expected much more considering the price tag.. I assumed the method had to me much cleaner and surefire than what I imagined, so i made the purchase in large part to see how it was done but unfortunately it's pretty much what i thought it was. However, if you think the effect itself is worth the price tag and are willing to put in the practice then im sure you'd find your money's worth. Personally i find it a bit too unreliable and impractical to add to my routines so i really wish i had spent my money elsewhere:/ but ill keep trying it a bit more and come back if my opinion changes

Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.

  • John asks: Could you please provide more information about the safety and security measures involved in the method of transferring a borrowed wedding ring from its initial vanishing point to appearing linked on the magician's shoelace in 'Ring to Shoelace'? Specifically, I'm interested in understanding how the integrity of the ring and its secure attachment to the shoelace are ensured throughout the performance to prevent any potential mishaps or damage to the ring."

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It is very safe as the ring is in your (and the spectator's) hands for most of the routine. There is a small chance that it doesn't make its way onto your shoe but it's rare. When this happens, you learn how to troubleshoot it. But to keep things even safer, I recommend using a wedding band rather than a big ring with a chunky stone. However, you could use any ring.
  • Roland asks: I use a lot of magnets in my show magnets in pockets, strapped to my leg. Will this work with these magnets.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:They probably will not be compatible with each other.
  • Matt asks: does this come with a matching shoelace for the other shoe?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It does not but you can use most black dress shoes with a thin shoelace.
  • Gary asks: Can I request red hank?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Unfortunately, it is not possible to request a specific color of hank.
  • Henok asks: Is there an opportunity to purchase extras of the small gimmick that comes with it?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You can contact Adrián Carratalá's support team. The email is included in the package.
  • Michael asks: Do you need to wear a sport coat?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You do not. You can do it in short sleeves.
  • Roland asks: Do you have to alter anything you wear?

    • 1. Stuart responds:Nothing is altered permanently.
  • Peow Yeong asks: I recognise this works best with dark shoes and black laces. How about black sports sneakers or do they only go with black leather dress shoes/laces?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It is possible with sneakers and they show you a modified version of the gimmick on a sneaker
  • Shannon asks: It looks like a shoelace is included in the product. I’m pretty good at wearing through my shoelaces. What if the provided one snaps after use?

    • 1. Jim responds:You can replace it, with some DIY work.
  • Cuong asks: Is the handkerchief needed for this effect and is it included with the trick?

    • 1. Jim responds:Yes, and yes.
