EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PERFORM INCLUDED!!!!
OK, just kidding. None of that is true. I didn't buy this with either the hope or expectation of becoming a Shin Lim clone. I bought it with the expectation of being exposed to applied cutting edge thinking and have not been disappointed. Even if I don't incorporate a single idea into my act, I have gotten more than my money's worth. The video is very well done and Shin's explanations both of the effects and the theory behind them are superb! This is not a release for dilettantes; both the price point and the content are intended for connoisseurs of the art. If that describes you, this release is a MUST!
The teaching is really thorough and I have been like a kid at christmas for the las 24 hours playing with all my new 'toys'. This is gimmicked magic at it's very best.
It might be useful to note that SSS isn;t included but it really doesn't matter. There is plenty more to make up for it.
This should be on every magicians 'To Buy List'. It will get ever creative cog in your body turning. Now, how do I give this 6 stars???
Gimmicks: 9/10
All very well made and even better thought out. Everything is included that you need to perform the routine (excluding SSS but you don't need it so it doesn't really matter). All gimmicks can be used separately for routines that you come up with on your own.
Teaching: 9/10
Shin is a pretty good teacher. At times, he goes very in depth but that's no bad thing. The two guys he does the explanation with are very helpful and add valuable points.
Price: 10/10
For what you get, you are paying a fraction of what it is worth. Even if you don;t plan to perform this, you will have so much fun playing with it.
