For the first time ever, Joshua Jay’s off-Broadway sensation is now available to stream anywhere in the world in stunning 4K.

During its run, Joshua Jay’s Six Impossible Things would sell out months in advance. There were four extensions and, in total, it ran for more than 240 sold-out shows. Every night, guests from around the world would gather outside the unmistakable blue door in New York’s Lower East Side to experience the first-ever truly immersive magic experience.

Six Impossible Things was inspired by Joshua Jay’s desire to help others understand what magic “feels” like. It was not a typical “showcase of tricks”, but rather a one-of-a-kind shared experience in which Josh would not simply perform for the audience. He would instead engage them in a conversation; a surreal guided tour that was truly special.

There was no theater or stage. Guests would instead travel between different rooms watching as a new mystery unfolded to reveal an “impossible” thing.

The show was also shrouded in the mystery of a particularly unique rule. Only 20 tickets were available for each show and anyone who saw it was never allowed to see it again. Until now…

An incredible looking show that must have been amazing in person. My only complaint is that it feels a bit edited to hide moments. Part of the fun of magic for me is watching the artistry and the handling of off beat moments. When it gets cut out, I'm not getting the full magic experience.

A huge thank you to Josh and his entire crew for working to create a show that truly elevates our artform and presents it in an exciting and transformative way. As an artist in the audience of a magic show, I find I know I'm watching something truly wonderful when the artist has created an experience that managed to keep me largely out of "magician's mind" mode, and while it never shuts off completely, (as I'm sure you all know), I appreciate how often I was watching a piece of theater first and a "bunch of tricks" second. Bravo, Josh!

Also, not for nothing, and not sure if he'll see this, but: I went to college in Ohio a little over 20 years ago, and I have fond memories of meeting/talking with a younger Josh Jay among other local magicians. It's incredible to see how far he has come, and how dedicated he is raising up our art form in every way possible. Thank you - your work is appreciated more than you know.

Stunning example of storytelling as a thread for absolutely faultless impossible effects. I'm going to have to watch it again, not to hope to see how anything was achieved but because there was so much to absorb during the performance that it needs more than one opportunity to fully appreciate all of the effort that has gone into this show. Highly recommended.

This was absolutely incredible.

So beautifully designed, thought out and written.

The production value was absolutely incredible...the editing...the sound design...the sets...just. so. good!

Magicians NEED to watch this to both be inspired, spark their imaginations and also to understand the potential of digging deeper creatively into themselves to pull something uniquely their own out and into the world. This is actually a Masterclass of all of that.

THIS is honestly the type of performance, storytelling, thoughtfulness that elevates magic to where it stands next to the best parts of theater.

The spectators reactions were as priceless (particularly the woman during the card effect about fate) as the fact that they were so involved in so many aspects of every piece.

I literally had a goofy, enchanted grin on my face the entire time and felt like a kid just watching the audience and seeing them experience the world needs a lot more of...

To experience, savor and enjoy moments that feel like real magic.

Incredible and everyone absolutely needs to see this video.

If you’re a solo performer you need to watch this. But you’ll need to watch it twice. Once to enjoy the show. And a second (ok maybe a third or fourth) time to learn everything that watching this show can teach you. Brilliant.

Joshua Jay has put together an amazing show and I'm glad I could watch it. There are of course no explanation but as a magician you can pick up a lot regarding showmanship, organisation, design and audience management. Great!

Having missed SIX IMPOSSIBLE THINGS when it was done live in New York (it was already sold out when I heard about it), I was delighted to learn recently that a streaming version was going to be available. I just watched it, and it is such a gift to finally be able to see what all the fuss was about! One can certainly imagine how exciting it must’ve been to experience the in-person show, because the video itself is extremely engaging and entertaining, and conveys a real sense of immediacy.
