Is the method different to Roy Johnson’s card stab through a paper bag? Or is this Roy Johnson’s routine just with the shot glass ending?

The method is different and is similar to the Don Alan card stab.

why such a price difference between the first stabbed & shot and this one? I see the less expensive one is out of stock but want to know if there is a significant difference???

Same question, as I already have the original "stabbed abd shot". It becomes an habit to release new versions of old products, without indicating all the differences. Here, we can only read in the description : "An improved, flexible version of Bill's 100% safe, foolproof, and durable water seal.". But it is the only difference ?

Does it come with a regular shot glass and a larger one? Or just the one?

It comes with both regular and mega size shot glasses.

A killer card stab with a surprising shot glass production taken direct from Bill Abbott's working repertoire.

They select and sign a card before returning it to the deck and shuffling it them selves. An empty paper bag is examined, and you toss the deck inside. They give the bag a shake to mix the cards before you take it back and stab a sharp knife right through it. This knife is then violent ripped from the bag to show a single card impaled on the end...their signed card!

Just as the audience recovers, you hit them with a surprise ending they'll never see coming. You reach into the bag and pull out a large shot glass filled with liquid. Cheers!

Excellent release from Bill Abbott. Along with the link to the video instructions you receive the normal sized shot glass, the mega sized shot glass, two leakproof lids for the glasses, and the extra something for the bag stab. All the materials are excellent quality, furthermore, if you want to buy extra glasses and lids, or more of the extra something, you can buy them individually, a nice option to have. The video download included is very well produced, sound and video are clear and well lit. The instructions Bill Abbott provides are clear and thorough. One unique aspect of this release is that it includes 4 full real world performances at different venues, so you get an idea of how this effect translates to close-up, parlor, and stage. Bill Abbott also gives great instructions on alternative handlings of the effect (including without the extra something), discusses the history of the effect, gives good insights into important subtleties that enhance the effect, and provides guidance on the other materials not provided (knife, bags, liquid). I did not have the original release of this effect, so I can't speak to how they compare. However, Bill Abbott does discuss the reasoning for improving the lids for the shot glasses. This was done out of necessity rather than just arbitrarily changing an aspect of the effect to justify re-releasing it. The effect is not difficult to perform, great for close-up/parlor/ or stage. The liquid load is also well routined so there is little to no heat on your hands at that moment. Sincerely one of the best magic purchases I've made, certainly recommend.

Really??? Yes!!!! Excellent effect and teaching. You do need some inexpensive extras but this effect is just super. The ending is an audience stunner.

Great effect and exactly as it is described in terms of difficulty and impact. I've "Beta tested" it on family and received amazed responses despite still being a bit hesitant on script. I'll be using in in a couple upcoming shows including a family show but with lemonade or chocolate milk. Also been using Bill Abbott's Five Card Opener for a number of years. Good stuff. Thanks.
