Customer reviews for Twisted Sisters 2.0 Jumbo

Richard
Twisted Sisters is a brilliant packet trick. I'm likely to buy it in any incarnation, including this one. That said, there are two caveats:

The Elmsley count is not difficult and without it, packet tricks would almost not exist. The cards supplied are wet-ice slippery and will challenge even the finest motor skills when executing the count. I'm assuming that once the cards become a bit gritty, the count will be easier and more reliable, but ultra-slippery cards are NOT a good idea for a packet trick, regardless of the size of the cards.

What's the appropriate performance venue for this version? The size of the cards would suggest this could be done as a parlor trick, but the need for a flat table would all but rule that out. In short, I'm glad I own it, but in the "real world," I'm more likely to turn to the original version.

I was unfamiliar with this trick until Max Maven mentioned it a tutorial for one of his own products(you can guess which) ;) It's a good trick and the props are well made. I got the Jumbo version. You get the added bonus of learning the Elmsley Count if you don't know it already. A true classic.

It's a classic of magic, but I didn't get it because I wanted a Jumbo card closeup version of it.

I wanted a parlor/small stage version, and that you don't get.

Will it be impossible to design something? No of course not. Is this what I wanted to be doing. No.

I fail to see any huge advantage using Jumbos close up.
