For decades, Nielsen bottles were the gold standard for “The Vanishing Bottle”. They were used by countless pros around the world before being unfortunately discontinued due to key manufacturers closing down.

As the effect was still immensely popular though, Henry Harrius set out to find a solution for modern performers. He finally cracked the code in 2022 with his bestselling effect “Refilled”, which was released with full permission from Nielsen Magic. It uses a Corona beer bottle and is considered by many to be one of the best vanishing bottles ever made.

It wasn’t just the exceptional quality of the bottle that made “Refilled'' so popular though. Henry also developed a unique routine that added new layers of deception. The audience could now feel, and even hear, the bottle before it was magically refilled.

Since then, magicians have been clamoring for a non-alcoholic version that they could use when beer wasn’t appropriate. This led to a partnership between Henry Harrius and Nielsen to create a line of the highest quality “Vanishing Bottles” the magic community has ever seen.

I'm docking one star because it's nearly impossible to find a matching bottle. I went to several stores in my area, all of which had the mexi-coke bottles but they're either much smaller or much larger than the gimmick. The small glass bottles that come in the 6 pack are about 3 inches shorter and not even close. There are larger ones sold individually that are an inch taller than my gimmick. I think it would fly in a performance but the real bottle also had markings above the label that the gimmick doesn't have, so I had to use fine steel wool and scratch the markings off.

If I could find a perfect matching bottle, it would be a 5 star review without hesitation. That actual product is made exceptionally well and the instructional video is great. The problem with products like this, is manufacturers change the products the gimmick is intended to copy periodically, which outdates the gimmick quickly.

I'm still searching for a perfect 1:1 match but the 8oz or the 500ml do not match.

This trick is absolutely Amazing. I was able to perform it instantly and everyone has been mesmorized. Great job! Wonderful Gimmick and I had no problem finding a matching bottle at a local store.

Although I already have the Corona version with Refilled I purchased this Coke bottle too. The quality and attention to detail with the Coke bottle is fantastic and I believe the better of the two bottles. The added sound convincers taught in the tutorial will be added to my performance too. Great job Henry!

Ultimate Vanishing Bottle by Henry Harrius and Nielsen Magic is a great prop to have. The quality is excellent. It looks just like a regular glass Coke bottle. I can say that it is better than the classic Vanishing bottle prop that I have had for a long time. The labels also look normal. Not exactly the same as normal labels, but they are good enough for the trick. Henry Harrius released a trick called Refilled a few years ago. If you like it, you will like this one as well. He teaches a basic vanishing routine in the tutorial, and also includes some routines from Refilled. It is so cool that you can perform Refilled with a Coke bottle now. Corona bottle is nice, but Coke bottle is even better. Perfect for family shows. In the tutorial, he teaches several sound convincers. I absolutely love them. Also, I am so glad that I bought mine from Vanishing Inc, because they include a sound convincer gimmick, so I don’t need to look for one. The only complaint that I have is that not all Coke bottles have the same color. Some are light green, and others are completely clear. Henry said in the video that people don’t really see the difference. Well, I guess I need to trust the guy who performs it more than anyone in the world.

This is a high-quality prop! The video gives you multiple performance options. Chose one that fits your style and amount of time you want to give to this trick. A tip. In rehearsal, we found that down lighting and any back lighting could potentially cast shadows of the 2 or 3 bottles in the paper bag. This was corrected by using the front piece cut from another matching bag and glue sticking it to the inside front of the bag to be later crushed.

Having said all that...this is a killer trick. It brought the house down.

This might be my favorite vanishing coke bottle ever. It is so convincing and with a little practice you will be a pro at this trick. The empty bottle is so convincing.
I don't know what more to say than you should have this in you show.

I am a long time fan of Nielsen bottles and I have a ketchup bottle I still use from 30 years ago. As much as I love them, this new one is so realistic that it blows my mind! I love the fact that it has a bottom. I love how incredibly realistic it looks, even close up. The material it’s made of looks like it will last forever and the sound convincers in the instructions put this product over the moon. I have not yet used it in a performance but I can see this as a running gag throughout the show, tying everything up at the end with the vanish. It’s a remarkable product and looks like it’s made to be a worker.
