“PITATA Wondrous Light” combines two classic pieces of magic, the self-lighting bulb and the object-to-impossible-location, into one powerful routine.
You begin by showing your audience a large light bulb. There are no wires attached to it and no visible power source anywhere. Yet, while holding it in your hands, the bulb begins to glow brightly at your command.
After a few seconds, the light fades away.
At this point, everyone will probably have the same thought. There must be a battery or some sort of electronic device hidden inside the bulb.
You unscrew the base and show them exactly what is inside.
There is no filament. There are no electronics. Instead, the bulb is filled with candy, which you pour out and give to your audience. Everything can then be handed out for examination.
The best part is, what appears inside the lightbulb can be anything you want.
You can fill it with a small gift, a prediction, or even a participant’s object or card that vanished earlier in your performance.
