David Regal leads off with his routine which transmogrifies an ordinary playing card into a puppy that always responds to the voice of its master. You'll see and learn Harry Lorayne's routine which first saw print in his classic Close-Up Card Magic performed and taught by the man himself. Frank Garcia offers some clever moves that are ready to be implemented into your own routine while Michael Ammar demonstrates a routine that would complement the repertoire of any card worker. Doc Eason is up next with his take, a high point of his bar set, while Paul Wilson, Al Schneider and the inimitable Tommy Wonder perform and teach their routines which all end up with the card appearing in a totally unexpected and magical place. Finally, Dai Vernon's reminiscence about the origins of his timeless routine from Stars of Magic is the perfect way to round out this Ambitious Card extravaganza.

While the quality of the video is not the best. I learned some great magic and I am very happy to recommend this to other magicians.

Ambitious Card has to be a standard in any card magicians arsenal. If youre looking to start from scratch, for a new script, something to add to your patter. Or if youre looking for a new presentation or ending to your routine. Then look no further. This collection and instruction by some of the very best performing their routine and giving you a detailed walk throughs of the ins and outs. Something could be said to the extent that the more you know, the more confidence youll have. What a perfect way to study the different subtities and variations from some of magic's greatest minds. I cant say enough about how fun and informative I found this download. You definately cant go wrong for the price. Some of todays magicians charge $10 for just one download. Here you get 9 for just a little over that.

a lot of good techniques to pick up. Some of Magians do not go into enough detail on particular moves. There is enough material to extract from each performance to make it your own routine

The video is a bit grainy and some of the presentations are a bit corny. Its a fairly good resource but no fireworks. The Tommy Wonder routine is my favourite and is worth the price for the download. Its nice to see all the different methods even though some of the explanations are not all that clear. Overall not a bad buy.
