Paradox Cube

A cube THEY mixed magically solves in THEIR hands. No switches or sneaky sleight of hand. “Paradox Cube” is a groundbreaking revolution that has flipped the world of cube magic on its head.
“I QUIT MAGIC!” Cyril Takayama
With “Paradox Cube”, Sam Huang (aka Crazy Sam) further cements his legacy as one of the most creative magicians in the world. He’s not just pushing boundaries, he’s proving they don’t even exist. Featuring a truly genius method that’s laughably easy to do, “Paradox Cube” is his best work yet.
In card magic, a perfect ACAAN is often considered the Holy Grail. For cube magic, it’s the magical solve of a mixed cube in a participant’s hands. “Paradox Cube” is the first time ever that you can achieve this miracle without having to switch or even touch the cubes. The entire magical experience happens in their hands.
“Paradox Cube” left every magician speechless when it debuted at the Blackpool Magic Convention. Now you can learn why this shockingly easy to do miracle had magicians like David Blaine, Cyril Takayama, Craig Petty, and Kevin Li hailing it as the best thing they saw at the convention.
You hand a cube to someone to mix. Every choice is completely free as they fairly shuffle the cube under a handkerchief (included), a table, or even behind their back. Then without any sneaky moves or sleight of hand, you reveal that the cube has been magically solved!
- No dual reality
- No switches
- No sleight of hand
- No shells
- No reset
- Easy to do
In addition to the completely hands-off solve routine, you’ll also learn a fun routine called “Double Miracle” where they mix two cubes and then instantly solve both behind their back.
Not a fan of instant-solve routines? You’ll also learn a stunning matching routine where the cube they mix matches a photo on your Instagram. Blow their minds and then gain a follower. It's a win-win.
You won’t be able to stop yourself from smiling when you learn how deviously clever “Paradox Cube” is. It’s perfect for magicians and mentalists of all skill levels, and works both close-up and on stage. You can even perform it completely surrounded.
Produced in collaboration with Henry Harrius, “Paradox Cube” comes with a specially-gimmicked cube, a RD Regular Cube and handkerchief. You also get 45 minutes of detailed video tutorials in which you’ll learn three routines, Crazy Sam’s go-to mixing pattern and accompanying one-handed solve, as well a fun bonus idea.

“Paradox Cube” FAQ
Do I need to know how to solve a cube to perform this?”
Nope. You do not need to know how to solve a cube to perform any of the “Paradox Cube” routines. However, as with all cube effects, knowing how to solve a cube never hurts. Those with cube experience will be able to grasp the core concepts behind “Paradox Cube” in just a few minutes. If you’ve never picked up a cube though, please prepare for it to take slightly longer for you to feel fully comfortable performing it (just like with any new prop).
Is the cube examinable?
No. However, you’re taught how to display the cube very freely. They cube also doesn’t feel or move any differently than a normal cube. So they really have no reason to think anything is fishy. However, if this concerns you, don’t worry! Sam teaches you how to easily and invisibly swap in the normal cube for examination after the routine is done. It’s all done under the guise of shaking their hand and thanking them for helping you.
Please note a portion of the instructions are presented in Chinese. Subtitles are available throughout the entire video in English, Chinese, Japanese, or Spanish. Additionally, your purchase does not include TV rights. If you’d like to perform “Paradox Cube” on TV, YouTube or any other broadcast medium, please contact info@hhpresents.com.
Customer reviews for Paradox Cube
I instantly bought this after seeing the trailer, after hearing the ease of performing the trick. It’s correct, it is very easy to do, the part of the routine where the spectator solves the cube (the main element) is self working.
However, the trailer doesn’t show a couple of things. First, they do have to mix up the cube in a certain way. Yes, they do MIX it in whatever position they want, but the way they mix it has to be very carefully controlled. Sam and Henry both gloss over this, saying to be specific in your language, but there’s still a part of me that is slightly worried about trying this for the first time. Secondly, and this might just be me, to be able to replicate an effect like ‘The Solution’, the cube has to be mixed before they solve it. This isn’t covered in the instructions, as the routines involve giving them a solved cube to mix up, before it solves again, but using some of the provided stacks could make this easier. I’ll have to try it live, but I think it could work.
The gimmicked cube itself is more of a gaff cube than a gimmick. There are no additional moving parts, no flaps, no shells, no magnets, it handles like a regular cube which can be mixed like a regular cube. However, and I have to be careful what I say here, it’s not a regular cube, and if your spectators put a lot attention to examine the cube, they’ll discover something very odd. Think of it as like an RD360 shell. With that, they can hold it for a second, but they can’t properly examine the shell without discovering it cant fully turn. It’s the same with this, they can mix it up as part of the routine, but the cube cannot be under scrutiny. However, Henry and Sam both recommend switching the cube afterwards, which they discuss methods for, so I don’t really see this as a problem.
I still prefer The Solution to this, however I will still perform this. I’m surprised that it fooled Cyril and others, but that’s just my own opinion. It’s a fooling routine, if you clarify the instructions and that’s it’s a normal cube. I’ll probably end up using this as a continuation of The Solution in my show, as one the handlings involves a double, behind the back, solve. Maybe I’ll try that.
Overall, it’s a good product. Some will be disappointed with the method, others will be excited at just how easy it is to perform. If I was to recommend this or The Solution, I would go for the latter, but this is a great continuation of The Solution, and this can be performed fully surrounded. I’ll use it in my show, but not without initial worry.
And you can do it surrounded!
Brilliant.
Anyway, Henry and Sam are geniuses, and their collaboration on this is all the encouragement needed to recommend this product for magicians who like Cube tricks.
Unfortunately there is also the fact that it was promised that you don't need Rubik's cube knowledge which is not quite right because you do need it.
Sorry , but it’s not a god product .

Peter asks: To clarify my question about subtitles: when watching on Vimeo, subtitles are available. However, if you download the video then this downloaded video does not have subtitles. Can the subtitles be provided?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Hey! Unfortunately we only have the tutorial provided by the creator
Mark asks: Please confirm if Paradox Cube also comes with extra stickers for customizing. This is necessary if you want to do the two cube matching effect. Thanks!
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes it does.
Peter asks: The downloaded video instructions do not include the subtitles. Are you able to provide the subtitles?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:If you press the CC option on the video, subtitles are available
Gabriele asks: the fact that you have to tell your spectator to mix on side at a time means that the can mix how many times they want the side they decide? For example: "choose any side and turn It....now choose another One and turn It..."
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes this is correct
Peter asks: Are all 6 sides examinable when solved?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:No however Sam teaches a way where the spectator can check a cube out
Nate asks: Very interested! I bought the chaos cube effect and was pretty disappointed. Is this in any way a similar type of effect/gimmick? Thank you!
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Completely different gimmick. The only similarity is that this one is not fully examinable. But, you can perform surrounded with no issues using this.
Stephen asks: Looks Amazing but Quick query the Ad claims it comes as a No switches, No sleight of hand, No shells, No reset and uses a specially gimmicked cube that allows the spectator to "unconsciously" achieve the effect - is this correct ? - And then repeat without reset ?? Correct ? If so I Love it
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes. If you're doing the core in-their-hands-solve routine, they do everything and you're left reset to start again.
Chad asks: Are the spectators free to mix the cube under the scarf, or do you have have to direct them on the mix they can do, such as giving them turning options?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:There are instructions, but they are very fair and simple, and as you can see from the reactions of the famous magicians that saw it, it all feels incredibly free and fair.
Darren asks: Can you please elaborate on what is meant by "Every choice is completely free". Does this mean they are limited to a number of choices? Thank you.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:They can freely choose which side they want to spin. They do the spinning themselves. And they can spin as many total sides as they want. But they can only spin one side at a time. So the choices is in reference to the fact that they choose the side they want to spin, before spinning it.
Michael asks: I will ask the questions again as your answer does not addess the approximate time required to "get familiar" You’ll want to be familiar with the cube and how to solve it in case you need to back track or mess up a mix.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The approximate time is the amount of time that you spend with the cube. Every magician’s learning time different but you’ll want to know how to solve the cube in case you mess up an algorithm. This can be done through memory and learning how to solve it or through and app that helps you solve it.
