The "RD Regular Cube" is the first cube to be designed especially for magicians. Every single detail has been carefully considered to make this the best, and least expensive choice for all cube magic!

Designed by cube magic master Henry Harrius, it is tailor made to be customized by you for your needs because it's completely adjustable. And when we say completely, we mean it. You can tighten or loosen it for the custom fit you desire.

The side panels are also removable so you can make your own patterns with the included stickers. And when you need to manipulate it, the movement is silent without any required oiling, so there won't be any oily spots on your clothes, your hands or your cards!

Basically, it has everything you want in a speed cube, but cheaper!

But wait, it gets even better!

Aside from all the magic you can perform with this gem, it combines perfectly with "RD360" and other Henry Harrius favorites for more effects, more power and even more possibilities. That's a lot of magic in one cube!

Why fumble when you can customize your cube manipulation skills for you and your audiences? Order your "RD Regular Cube" today!

Note: This product comes with no instructions or extra stickers. It is the perfect magic accessory for cube magic, but is not a magic trick itself.

Customer reviews for RD Regular Cube

Travis
These come out of the box a little stiffer than I'd like, but you can adjust and break them in pretty easily. Not perfect, but good, solid, and I'm glad they're easily available!
John
A must have for any magician wanting to get into Rubik's Cube magic, with one regular cube you can have an entire act on your hands. With two you could perform impossible matching effects, with four you could perform Haim Goldenberg's brilliant 'Cubism' routine.

Of course the main benefit is the compatibility with Henry Harrius' many brilliant cube effects, which are all amazing. A single Rubik's cube is a gateway into a whole genre of magic, at this price its worth a purchase even for the curious.

This is not a speed cube, rather it focus on minimizing the noise between every turn of the cube. Obviously it is impossible to reduce all the sound, but it is more quiet compare to other ones I own. The cube will come a bit stiff, especially compare to normal speed cube. It takes some time to get use to the different feel, but nothing not manageable. This is the perfect cube to perform cube 3 or other instant solves that will look much better if the turning sound are mute.

The only downside of the product is the fact that it does not come with any extra stickers. The quality of the stickers on the cube is good, but it won't last very long time under day to day practices.

The cube is really wall made, and it's ready to perform out of the box. You don't have to oil it to use it. Bought them for a Rubik's cube routine and they work great, they're really quiet and easy to turn.
Michael
The cube is cheap, but I'm not satisfied. It is not completely silent, instead it is louder than other cubes I own. Also the moves must be quit accurate or the cube will block itself.
Eyup
Is very silent, the Quality is not like the Original Rubiks Cube but for that Price is it perfect.
Michael
This a great cube. Smooth, moves nicely, great for cube tricks. It's easy to take apart and put back together again (if you don't know how to solve it). Definitely recommended if you want an affordable cube to do cube magic with.
Will
I like the cube as it turns smoothly and is good for cube routines but it isn't very quiet and can be slightly clunky at times.
Nicholas
Best cube for magic. Period. And really good price too!
Gerhard
Bought this as recommendation when purchasing Cube52. The cube is really well made and is pretty silent out the box. I haven't used it that much so will have to see how it does with heavy usage / practice. The action is very smooth and works much slicker than the other cubes I have. Great price as well. Highly recommend this.

The price, $12, is pretty much what I found on Amazon, and I think it was a few dollars more on Henry website Harrius.
It is exactly what it is advertised to be. Obviously it works for all of his products. I’m happy with the purchase. Vanishing inc always delivers as advertised. I’m happy with the purchase.
Ari
Just as described and an awesome cube! It is a fantastic addition to my routine with the RD 360. It feels super smooth and is fun to play with, even when I am not performing magic with it. I love having it out on the table and when a friend is over they start to play with it, it is a great transition into performing some awesome magic!! Highly recommend!!

I was expecting a little bit more from this cube as it gets really good reviews. As it was three times the price of one I bought locally I expected it to be three times as good. Unless I'm missing something, it isn't. Also to me the colours just look a little dull. Whilst I knew before I bought it that the description states that it comes with no instructions I thought this just meant that there are no instructions for how to perform magic tricks with it which is fair enough. I did think there would be some explanation of how it is "completely adjustable" and how you can "remove the side panels to make your own patterns with the included stickers." There were no stickers included and I don't want to start hacking about trying to remove side panels and break it. It serves its purpose alongside Cube 52 (which I highly recommend) but is rather disappointing otherwise. In fairness Vanishing Inc offered me a refund but it wasn't worth the hassle of sending back something that isn't actually broken. Thanks anyway,VI.
John
This cube is very well made, and it's ready for use out of the box. Tension can be easily adjusted if desired. Bought it to use for Cubeify.
Richard
I was surprised that this cube is not better. I feels clunky and does not rotate as easily as a modern speedcube. Because there are no magnets to help bring faces into alignment, you have to be very precise in lining them up or else the cube will block the next twist. So it is difficult to perform sleights such as instant solves. I have a speedcube that is much easier to use with routines that require me to solve with one hand, rotate faces using a single finger, or behind my back, and it is just as silent. The only advantage of this cube is that it looks like a traditional cube, whereas modern speedcubes tend to have solid faces rather than stickers. However, the colours of the stickers are rather drab and dark. I think I will prefer to perform my routines with a good speedcube from one of the manufacturers such as Gan or MoYu. Nowadays, many spectators, and certainly younger ones, will be familiar with the look of modern speedcubes so I don't think their look is as disadvantageous as it once might have been. Another possibility is that I could add stickers to the faces of my speedcube to give it a more traditional look.

There are better cubes out there, but this is needed if you use the RD 360 shell or other gimmicks. It pairs well with cube routines where reliability, consistency, and a natural appearance really matter.

  • Richard asks: How can I learn how to do these things? 1. "You can tighten or loosen it for the custom fit you desire." 2. "The side panels are also removable so you can make your own patterns with the included stickers."

    • 1. Richard responds:I've got it now. I can just pry off the caps with a small screwdriver.
  • Paul asks: Are all panels on the cube removable or just the center ones?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:All panels can be removed
  • David asks: Thank you. I realise that it isn't a magic trick as such. My question was : how do you do the things it says in the description eg "The side panels are also removable so you can make your own patterns with the included stickers." How do you remove the side panels and where are the "included stickers" (or does that just mean use the stickers that are already on the cube?) Thanks for any further explanation.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Please email us at wizards@vanishingincmagic.com and we can look into this for you
  • David asks: I know it says there are no instructions but I thought that just meant no magic trick instructions. How is it "adjustable" and how do you "remove the side panels"? I'm new to this so don't want to just start hacking at it! Also the description says "you can make your own patterns with the included stickers"....what included stickers? It was just a cube in a box...Thanks for your help.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:This product comes with no instructions or extra stickers. It is the perfect magic accessory for cube magic, but is not a magic trick itself.
  • Andrew asks: I’m a puppeteer and I would like to know: Is it possible to solve this cube with only one hand?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:If you're skilled at solving a cube with one hand, it's very easy to turn.
  • Matthew asks: I lost my RD Insta cube and bought one of these, but the original gimmick doesn't seem to stick. Are they meant to be compatible?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:They are not compatible.
  • Steve asks: Does this cube work with the Rubik Wall?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes!
  • Isak asks: Can I load the Venom gimmick on this cube?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Unfortunately not because it is an ungimmicked cube.
  • Keith asks: Am I seeing this correctly that you can take it apart to reset it?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You can take apart the cube if you need to but there's no reset on it. You can solve it like a normal cube, because it is a normal cube.
  • Paul asks: I've never owned a Cube effect before. Can I purchase something that teaches me how to solve cubes?? Recommendations?? Many thanks for any info. -Paul
