When I began my journey into magic one of the first decks of cards I was given was a Svengali deck. It came with no instructions and I couldn't understand the basic principle behind the deck. i was fotunate enough to meet a gentleman who introduced me to this booklet, 101 tricks with a Svengali deck. I now purchase this simple booklet (along with an approprate deck) for every young person I introduce to card magic. I still find it to be perfect for the occasion.
