This is a must-watch. Knowing a handful of controls allows you to perform many great routines. Robert Giobbi is a great man and a wonderful teacher. This will push your card work to the next level. I recommend this.

I have always thought that controls are useless and a force should just be used. I decided to get this and I was completely wrong. These are now all a staple for my card magic. This is one of my favorite downloads that teaches sleights.

Great video production, very easy to follow, methods taught on this download are worth knowing.

It's a must! Giobbi is the great teacher of magicians. You can't miss this class within the amazing Card Magic Masterclass collection. Specifically, this installment dedicated to Controls will be super useful. I have found wonderful ideas to bring to my routines, movements that I didn't know about and techniques that I had never been able to do. With Giobbi everything is simple. I don't know how he manages to teach tricky issues in such a simple and didactic way. Essential. Don't hesitate.

Giobbi is a master teacher. You can never go wrong with any of his work. This is another another brilliant tutorial from him. The effort and depth of the tutorial is just brilliant. Controlling cards are most probably one of the most important sleight in card magic and Giobbi does not disappoint.

I've never been good at controls. That's a fact of life. Or so I thought. Boy was I wrong! This download saved my life! So helpful! It will take some practice ( like most things), but definitely worth the effort. The video is very clear and well shot.

Pretty good, I prefer the books a bit more but the content is just as good as in the books.

Card Magic Masterclass – Controls felt like a proper wake-up call for me as an amateur trying to understand the real foundations of card magic. Roberto Giobbi is already legendary for Card College, and this DVD shows why—he doesn’t just teach moves, he teaches how to make them look completely natural. The focus here is on controls, and he breaks everything down so you can secretly maneuver one or multiple cards without tipping off your audience. What I appreciated most was how he didn’t just show the sleights—he went into the fine points, the subtle angles, and the little finesses that make the difference between “good enough” and invisible. Even though the DVD is about an hour and a half, it’s packed with practical information, like the Seven Steps to Card Control, single card controls, and the Break Control, all explained slowly and clearly enough that I could follow along at my own pace. As an amateur, I’ve tried learning moves from books or clips before, and it often felt confusing or overwhelming, but Giobbi’s teaching style makes it click in a way that actually motivates you to practice. It’s the kind of resource you can revisit again and again, and each time you pick up small details you missed the first time.

The amount of knowledge here is unbelievable! Every bit of information shared is worth its weight in gold. I appreciate the time and effort put forth in explaining everything in such detail. I'm a very amateur magician and am able to use all the information shared throughout this video.

Cleary articulated and evenly paced. Each phase was clearly explained and understandable. with practice I feel like I can use the information to enhance my performances. I also felt that the visual quality of the video was good I could clearly see what was being displayed. I also appreciated the historical context being explained to us as we learn the techniques taught. It gives an idea what to read if I wanted to dig a little deeper. Overall I enjoyed the video and feel like it was well worth checking out. I intend to revisit it several times as it was a lot to digest and practice too. great stuff.
