The axolotl, also known as the Méxican walking fish, is a famous and beloved creature that was declared severely endangered in 2006. These fascinating critters were the inspiration for a Pokémon and can even heal themselves like a superhero. Yet, in 2015, many scientists actually feared the species had gone extinct before thankfully finding one in the wild.

Axolotl Playing Cards are a special project from Enigma Cards dedicated to supporting conservation efforts in México by helping grow awareness about these cherished creatures.

This 56-card deck features completely custom illustrations for all the court cards, Aces and Jokers and is tucked into a matte black case with spot UV ink that enhances every detail. Each deck also comes with an exclusive thank you card and two educational cards about the axolotl.
