An animated deck you must have in your playing card card collection. "Snakes and Ladders Playing Cards" are a custom deck of playing cards that re-imagines the classic Snakes & Ladders board game in a Quantum Mechanics kind of way!

Twinned serpents create a snaking ladder using the Mechanic Industries trademark 13 repeating back marking system. Riffle through the deck to activate the animation and give your spectators a truly magical moment... then hit them with the other surprise tricks.

The "Snakes and Ladders Deck" is the perfect companion for card magic and mentalism.

Easy to read markings

Multiple ways to read the backs, very clear and easy to determine value at a quick glimpse. Full detailed instructions included in the tutorial that accompanies this deck.

Custom Faces

All aces, not just the ace of spades have custom snake illustrations incorporated into the design. The typical red color of the hearts and diamonds has been replaced with a golden yellow to match the rest of the deck. The royals in the courts have visual snake elements.

Snakebite Gaff

A really surprising moment when a snake shoots out of the deck in an instant and steals the corner of the spectators card. Use the flip-book animation to set them up then strike them with this for shocking reactions!

Snake Reveal Jokers

A super creative and fun way to reveal a spectators card. Inventive design uses the snake to reveal a force card of the 8 of diamonds! Use any color change to activate the transformation and change the snake into the spectators "freely" chosen card! This is a great little trick in itself but can be combined with the Snakebite Gaff and other features in the deck to create a full Snakes & Ladders routine.

Very cool deck. I’m not a collector of decks at all (never understood the fascination) but this one was too good to pass up. Very unique and well made.

Fabulous Deck as one would expect from Mechanic Industries another great deck of cards in the series. Many presentation ideas are possible around the popular game of snakes and ladders and as ever the teaching is great.
Some very strong and unusual effects are taught on the video tutorial. So many effects are possible with the deck and also the systems built into the deck and all of this and more is covered in detail on the tutorial. The effect with the snake popping out of the deck is priceless, absolutely brilliant and will make your spectator jump. As well as the bitten corner effect.

I bought this deck of cards for my son as the snakes and ladders board game seemed like a great idea for a card design. The backs have a lovely animation showing snakes moving about as you flip through them and the marking system is easy to understand and use. As with the other deck of cards I bought from Mechanics there's a certain amount of arts and crafts needed to make the gimmick work. In this case it's a snake that jumps out of the pack - just what you'd expect from a snakes and ladders themed pack of cards. If you like this kind of thing, this is the kind of thing you'll like.

  • Eli asks: I just watch the video and it showed that you needed to destroy some cards for the snake gimmick. Do the decks come with extras for that? Bc mine didn't and I don't want to destroy the cards, as I want to be able to play games with them too.
