An absolutely fascinating interview. Great questions, great answers, and lots of interesting historical background. I actually have one of issues of Marlo's Magazine, but to have the full set, wow! Andi has put in a ton of work, evidently, and I am sure the fruits of his labors will further advance the art of magic. Ah, to be a young man once again--too late for that for me, but I'll dig through the volumes and find some great stuff which I can master. Don't forget the "older" books and booklets like Marlo in Spaces and The Cardician. Anyways, a really riveting discussion and well worth your time.

Andi has become a real expert on Marlo. This video is a deep dive into Marlo the man, his process and his legacy. I'm so glad to see that the six "magazines" will live on beyond the small initial run of 300 copies. Kudos to Vanishing Inc. for taking on this monumental project. This set of books is truly a must have for anyone who aspires to be a "Cardician."
Regarding style or tone, one thing Marlo excelled at was taking something well known and turning it into something completely different. He did this through his unique ability to think outside of the box. His cups and balls routine is a good example. He could take an effect and turn it upside down and inside out. So, to me, the ability to transform standard effects was emblematic of the man himself.
