May 2019 Website Updates
By Vanishing Inc. -
We see our website as ever-evolving. Just as a brick and mortar magic shop might make regular changes to how they display their products, we like to regularly improve our website. Therefore, we thought it might be fun to share some of the recent changes to the Vanishing Inc. website:
1. Speed improvements: you'll notice that the website runs much faster than it used to. We've spent considerable time reworking things behind the scenes to make sure that every page loads quicker than ever. In some cases, we've shaved as much as seven seconds off per page load!
2. Mobile search improvements: it has always been our goal to have the best product search engine in magic, but that was falling short on mobile devices. That is now fixed!
3. Downloads area improvements: if you have purchased a lot of downloads, the list would load quite slowly, and look a bit messy. We've tidied that up a lot so that downloads with multiple chapters now take you to a separate page.
4. Conventions are now hosted here: we used to have separate websites for Magifest and The Session. It felt like it was a good time to merge them with the Vanishing Inc. website, and so now everything is available in one place.
5. Blog comments: you can now give us feedback on individual blog posts. At the bottom of each post, you'll find a comments box!
