My Favorite Card Tricks: George
By -
We asked some of our team to share with us their favorite card tricks. This week is the turn of George Luck. You may know him from being the general manager of Vanishing Inc. Over to George:

X-Ray by Ben Harris - When you read the description of this effect, it sounds impossible. But it really is as good as it sounds. You combine a superpower (x-ray vision) with super-human counting abilities. What's not to like!
Finish 52 by Ben Earl - This is a terrifically fooling, thought-of card trick that can be done with a borrowed deck of cards. It's just as impactful for magicians as it is for muggles and what's more, it's a lot of fun to perform. You have a deck shuffled up (so if you're facing a tough spectator, this is a great choice), and it is placed into your pocket. You then have any card named. Reaching into your pocket, you pull out one card. You can guess the rest!
Card to Pocket/ Impossible Location - Yeah yeah, this is a bit of a cop out because there are so many versions. That said, I find this plot to be the most interesting and fun to perform. There are so many possibilities for the reveal and so many different methods. Plus, it can be done with any deck of cards!
