The Marvelous Fays

Anna Eva Fay was a successful performer who featured performances of alleged spirit manifestations and mind reading all over the USA, England,and continental Europe. A friend of Harry Houdini, she did her own version of a Davenport Brothers style act, as well as featuring techniques used by Samri Baldwin and others. Her son, John Fay, decided to get in on the act, and had his wife, Anna Norman, perform under the name Eva Fay. Adopting an Egyptian theme, their magic act featured a version of faux mind reading, answering questions from a gullible audience. Performing at the turn of the century, The Marvelous Fays promoted themselves with this gorgeous half sheet lithograph printed by Erie Litho.
