By Ben Young -
Nothing says "I Love You" like some Valentine's Day themed magic! If you have any gigs this week, whether it's close up, a birthday party, or any other stand-up performance, your audiences will love (no pun intended) to see a few pieces of magic themed for the holiday. But customizing is hard and takes forever, right? Wrong! Check out these 3 EASY Valentine's-themed customizations you can make this afternoon with props you already own.
Produce Sweethearts candies from your AmazeCups!
Cut a notch in red sponge balls to make sponge hearts!
Instead of a solid color, make your Baffling Blocks turn Red and White! Here's how: Position a Red block and White block in the two center (force) positions on the multicolored side. On the backside, instead of a solid color, alternate Red and White blocks. You can make a quick trip to Walmart or Target to get extra Lego blocks. Then, in performance, ask for a number from 1-6. Use the same counting/spelling procedure from BOTH sides, thus forcing both Red and White with the same number selection. Give the Baffling Blocks a shake and viola, the blocks change to all Red and White!
Give these a try, and let us know how they work out for you!
