I love that trick and how clean it is. I think acting casual while doing something that visual, especially if it's not card and it doesn't come up in magic really (nothing against card tricks) is always a super powerful effect. You don't expect it either so it makes that effect 10 times more powerful. Love it!

Hilarious, and I have asthma and use an inhaler twice a day. This is quite amusing and could greatly reduce my drug costs!

I love this performance. Nick's casual attitude greatly enhances the deceptiveness of the production, as does the shape of the inhaler. Seeing this kind of trick performed with an unusual, non-standard prop is also refreshing. You could also use this as a visual running joke (a callback) during a longer routine. The magic gets you so excited you have to keep taking a puff from your inhaler! As I don't use an inhaler, it would be difficult to use this trick authentically. However, my youngest daughter is currently using one, so I could perform this as a concerned parent, packing extra inhalers in case one is lost. This would also be an excellent trick for a pharmacist or physician to use when treating children with asthma.
